The Creteboon was one of a number of concrete vessels built during the first world war at Carlingford Lough.   The creteboon was brought to the Moy estury in the 1930s with the purpose of being used as a blockship to prevent silt moving from bartra island into the channel.  The vessel lies beached in the Moy near Beleek castle hotel.  (Click on title for picture)
